2000 KES Rood Technology Pte Ltd, KESM Test Rood Technology (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and KES Rood Technology Taiwan Ltd completed change of their names to KES Test (S) Pte Ltd, KESM Test (M) Sdn Bhd. and KES Test Taiwan Limited respectively.         2001 Sunright’s wholly-owned subsidiary, KES (USA), Inc. incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary in the State of California, USA known as Flex2Chip, Inc. on 28 February 2001 and its main principal activities is high tech manufacturing.       Flex2Chip acquired Tessera’s Inc.’s flexible circuit substrate manufacturing operations.         2002 On 5th September 2002, Sunright incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary, KES Systems & Service Costa Rica Sociedad Anonima in Costa Rica. The company is engaged in the provision of repair, maintenance and support services of burn-in boards.         2003 The test operation, KES Test Taiwan was merged with the burn-in operations in Hsinchu, Taiwan on 31st March 2003.         2005 On 24th June, KES Systems & Service (Hong Kong) Ltd was deregistered as a subsidiary company of Sunright as its customer transferred its operations offshore.       Kestronics (Thailand) Co., Ltd was set up on 26th August as an associate company. It is involved in the distribution of high-tech electronics equipment and materials.         2006 Flex2Chip, Inc. ceased its operations on 6th January 2006.       This was followed by the dissolution of Kestronics (HK)’s Branch Office in Taiwan on 23rd January 2006.       On 10th March 2006, Sunright expanded its activities in China when it set up its joint venture, Shangdong Xinyue Electrical Engineering Co. Ltd. It undertakes the design and installation of electrical engineering projects.         2007 On 28th June, our associate company, KESM Industries set up a wholly owned subsidiary, KESM Industries (Tianjin) Co., Ltd to provide semiconductor manufacturers with burn-in, testing and related services in Tianjin, China.       KES Systems & Service (1993) Pte Ltd set up a representative office in Malaysia to provide customer support to its customer base in Malaysia.       In the same, it also set up another board maintenance/repair service center in Suzhou, China, providing semiconductor manufacturers with related services.
